Magnet · Banksy - Flower Thrower

Flower Thrower is one of Banksy's strongest political images. It was created in 2003 on a garage wall in Beit Sahour near Bethlehem. A masked protester with a cloth over his face and a cap worn backwards winds up with all his might to throw; but instead of a stone or Molotov cocktail, he holds a colorful bouquet of flowers in his hand. The contrast between the black-and-white figure and the bright flowers makes the message clear at a glance: hope instead of rage. In a conflict region, the image turns the most familiar gesture of violence into a gesture of peace and quickly became a worldwide symbol of protest.

A colorful reminder that stays in view every day, for everyone who stood in front of this bouquet at the exhibition.

For the fridge, the office pinboard or as a small gift for committed friends.
