Magnet · Banksy - Laugh Now

Laugh Now was created in 2002 as a mural for a nightclub in Brighton and quickly became one of Banksy's trademarks. A melancholic chimpanzee wears a sign around his neck reading “Laugh now, but one day we'll be in charge”. The irony between the animal's tired, resigned posture and the challenge on the sign makes up the whole power of the work. Banksy conveys, both comically and unsettlingly, that the underestimated might one day be in charge. The chimpanzee became one of his best-known figures and reappears in many of his works in the following years.

A tongue-in-cheek reminder for everyone who met this gaze at the exhibition.

For the fridge, the office kitchen or as a small gift for friends with a sense of irony.
