Poster · Banksy - Rude Copper

Rude Copper is one of Banksy's early works: sprayed as a stencil on the streets of London in 2002 and released as a print the same year. A British police officer in a classic helmet bluntly gives the viewer the middle finger. The rude, almost childish gesture from a figure who stands for order strips authority of all seriousness and shows Banksy's punk spirit in its purest form.

That's how you take the cheeky grin from the exhibition home with you. And for anyone just getting to know Banksy, here is a quick way into his irreverent humour.

Adds rebellious wit to a young living room, studio or office. A gift guaranteed to raise a laugh for everyone who likes to question the rules!
