Stone Magnet · Banksy - Pulp Fiction

Pulp Fiction appeared in London in 2002 on a wall near Old Street Underground station. Banksy shows the two hitmen Jules and Vincent from Tarantino's cult film, but instead of pistols they hold bananas. The contrast between the serious, threatening pose of the men in suits and the absurdity of the bananas carries all the humour of the work. With this reversal, Banksy takes aim at the glorification of violence in pop culture. In 2007, the original was painted over by Transport for London; today the work lives on only in reproductions.

For everyone who smiled at this scene at the exhibition, a funny keepsake that lets a vanished wall live on in stone.

For the kitchen, the metal cabinet at the office or as an original gift for film fans.
